Now, There’s a Funny Thing

Now There’s A Funny Thing is a Heritage Lottery project investigating the history of popular entertainment in Brighton since 1960, which we had discovered was a subject that was very scantily recorded. We scoured archives and interviewed 20 people –  entertainers, artists, historians and enthusiasts and got a wealth of information together.

We shared our findings through a number of events and are now editing it all together into a booklet.

Online interviews with the likes of The Two Wrongies, Boogaloo Stu and Spymonkey’s very own Toby Park and The Booklet of Entertainments to follow shortly…

500 copies of the booklet will be available through the Brighton Central Library in Jubilee Square. And you will soon be able to view it on here…
