Are you a woman from an diverse community currently living in North Devon? Would you like to spend time in nature? Would you like to be more creative and have fun?
We are looking in particular to connect with women who may be new to the area, or who are unfamiliar with the local coastal landscape. We will visit the amazing Braunton Burrows, learn about the plants and animals that live there, spend time exploring and create a series of photographs together that show how this place delights us.
We are running 3 events on successive Sundays in October and November. Each will explore two out of four habitats in Braunton Burrows: woodland full of twittering birds and fruiting trees; grassland full of rare plants; sand dunes that are astonishingly large; and the seashore that allows us to gaze out towards the southern tip of Ireland and beyond to the Americas.
You can attend one or all three sessions. They are free and while we ask you to bring water, we will provide snacks and soup at the end, if you wish.
- This event is designed for adults so if you have children, we hope that it is possible for you to arrange childcare.
- Please do not bring dogs as others may not like them.
