– an outdoor arts project with pupils and staff from St. Catherine’s Primary School, Heathfield, commissioned by Stover Country park as part of their Restoring Stover heritage project.
We worked with pupils from Kingfishers and Kestrels classes (Years 4 and 5) to create a series of scenes that brought to life some of the history and special wildlife of the park, which were performed along a walking trail to family, friends and staff from the school and the park.
Pupils made decisions about the locations and subject matter, designed and made elements of their costumes, made puppets with James Richardson, contributed to sound tracks developed by Paschale Straiton and informed the film design created by Zoe Bloss.
The project was produced by Fiona Fraser Smith with support from Eve Malster from Stover Country Park
Facilitators: Zoe Bloss, Fiona Fraser Smith, James Richardson, Paschale Straiton, Kim Tilbrook
